Why Worry...When You Can Trust?

Last night, I went to church, and the pastor talked about the story in Genesis 18. Abraham's wife, Sarah, at almost 100 yrs old, gave birth to a son. The question was asked in verse 14, "Is any thing too hard for the LORD?"

The pastor said that there is no problem, and no person, too difficult for God to handle or change.
Mark 10:27 says, "And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible."

If we really believe this, why do we worry? Two verses I have been thinking much about recently are Philippians 4:6-7, "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."
We are told not to be anxious, or worry, about even one thing, but rather to tell God about our problems - with thanksgiving! The reason we can live an "extreme life", giving our all - all our trust, all our love, all our faith, all our strength - is because we have an "extreme" God, who can do anything, and will do what's best for us. We are to cast all our care upon Him. One of my favorite movies is called "Facing the Giants". And one of the questions asked again and again during the movie is "What's impossible with God?" The answer? NOTHING!!!
