Getting Started

To get started living the extreme life, you need to have an "extreme makeover". No, I'm not talking about the tv show. I'm talking about having your life completely remade to start new.
  • "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." 2 Corinthians 5:17
Giving your life to God will make you a new person. Wrong choices, or sins, from the past are forgiven, and removed "as far as the east is from the west..." Psalm 103:12

A – ADMIT you are a sinner.
God’s Word tells us that every person in the world has sinned. Just as we were born with the race or nationality of our parents, we were born with the sin nature of the mother and father of all races and nationalities, Adam and Eve.
  • Romans 3:10 ”As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:”
  • Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God”.
B BELIEVE Jesus died and rose again to pay for your sins.
Jesus Christ is the only one who can perform this "extreme makeover". Since He made you, He is the only one that can change you.
  • John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
This may sound exclusive, but since Jesus Christ was God and took the punishment for our sins, He had the right to say that.
  • John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
C CONFESS Jesus is Lord of your life.
  • Romans 10:9-10 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
To have an "extreme makeover" performed in your life, you must accept Jesus Christ' payment for and forgiveness of your sins and pronounce Him Lord of your life. Once this is done, He can begin changing you. You are forgiven and accepted immediately, but changing life-long habits and thoughts takes time. But God has promised that "...he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:".
